ConServe Receives Designation as
'Government Prime Contractor Champion'
onServe, an ACA International
member company in Fairport,
N.Y., was recently honored for
its work with small businesses and as
a government contractor. The Monroe
County Finger Lakes Procurement
Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)
named ConServe the 2018 Government
Prime Contractor Champion, according to
a news release. The honor also recognizes
ConServe provides to the
special interest group.
"As a standout
corporate citizen, our
prioritization of small
aligns with our mission
to help improve the
human condition. To be
recognized with this award in an honor,"
said ConServe President Rich Klein.
ConServe was also recognized as an
exceptional corporate role model for its
positive economic impact on the region
during National Small Business Week
Along with other PTAC award recipients
spotlighted as contracting champions,
ConServe was honored at a celebratory
event that included a formal proclamation
of Small Business Week to the U.S. Small
Business Administration. The event was
held April 30 at the Watts Conference
Center in Rochester, N.Y.
Learning Together at the Midwest
Credit and Collection Conference
ndustry leaders from the Great Lakes
Credit and Collection Association
(GLCCA) gathered for educational
workshops, networking opportunities
and more during the Midwest Credit and
Collection Conference, held May 21-23 at
the Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wis.
The GLCCA installed its new Board of
Directors, including President Tim Haag,
vice president of support services at State
Collection Service Inc.; Treasurer Michael
Klutho, shareholder at Bassford Remele; and
President-Elect Pauline Kussart, president of
The Stark Collection Agency.
ACA International's Vice President of
Operations Ted Smith, CAE, attended the
conference to meet with members, support
the unit's work on education and advocacy,
and present an update on ACA's projects and
strategies to help members succeed.
Kenlyn Gretz, president of Americollect,
facilitated an open-forum discussion
about hiring and retention in the accounts
receivable management industry.
Dennis Donohue, vice president of Associated Collectors Inc., and Ted
Smith, ACA's vice president of operations.
