Not only because he can win any argument, but because I know whatever side he is arguing is in the best interest of our industry, our association and its members." A RISING TIDE LIFTS ALL BOATS "It's a great time to be in a leadership role and to be involved in the association," Brown said. He should know; he's invested a great deal of time volunteering with ACA over the COLLECTOR 08.18 years, participating in and chairing multiple committees and serving on ACA's Board of Directors since 2015. He has earned ACA's Fellow and Scholar designations, and earlier this year won ACA's Kurt Swersky Award, which recognized his leadership skills as well as his enthusiasm and positive attitude. Brown is also a devoted and active leader in the Florida Collectors Association and has served in several board roles, including president. He cites 2000/01 ACA President John Rockhill as one of the motivating forces behind his initial involvement with the association.
