ACA Celebrates Unit Certificate
of Excellence Recipients
CA International has awarded
certificates of excellence to 10
ACA-affiliated state and regional
associations (units) that submitted
2016 voluntary self-audits and earned
qualifying scores. The Unit Certificate of
Excellence recognizes units in the U.S.
committed to excellence in membership,
communications, education, government
affairs and general operations.
Unit successes are due to the investment
of time and talent by many member-leader
volunteers and, in some units, local staff.
Following are the qualifying units and their
presidents as of Dec. 31, 2016:
Michigan Association of Collection
Rebecca Roberts, president
Arizona Collectors Association
Heath Morder, president
South Dakota Collectors Association
Mark Kisely, president
California Association of Collectors Inc.
Sanford Lubin, president
The Unit Certificate of Excellence selfaudit is intended to spark dialogue within
units about what components make up
an "excellent" local association. Units are
the foundation of ACA International.
Commitment to quality and member service
at the state and regional level is vital to ACA's
ability to maintain its respected position in
the credit and collection industry.
