Coast Professional Donates to
Ronald McDonald House Charities

A

CA International member
company Coast Professional
recently donated $12,130 to
the Ronald McDonald House Charities
(RMHC) of Rochester.
The donation is a result of the company's
dress down for charity program, in which
employees donate $20 or more for the option
to wear jeans and business casual attire for
the month. The company's donation includes
employee contributions from Coast's
Geneseo, N.Y., office, as well as its Henrietta,
N.Y., location and the company match of up
to $1,000 per office.
Coast employees selected RMHC to be
the recipient of the charity dress-down
program for both January and February in
light of the impact that RMHC has in the
local area. Employees vote bimonthly for the
charity that will receive the donations raised
through the dress-down program.

All proceeds from the event will benefit
local families and help support RMHC's
mission to provide a home away from
home for families that need to be near their
children who are receiving healthcare in
Rochester-area hospitals.
"Coast's dress-down program was created
to give back to the community through
monthly donations and further establish
our company culture of philanthropy," said

Roxanne Baker, president of Coast. "Our
staff has been the driving force behind this
program, which continues to exceed our
expectations. Coast is proud that we are
able create a positive impact within the local
area and establish an appreciation of charity
throughout our organization. On behalf of
Coast and our employees, we are proud to
give this donation to the Ronald McDonald
House Charities of Rochester."

Barb Cutrona, vice president of operations at RMHC, Scott McGlynn,
proposal writer at Coast and Jackie Crego, director of development
& marketing at RMHC.

WC Group, an ACA International member company in Carrollton, Texas, chose
to support local organization Hope's Door as its 2016 Fourth Quarter Charity of
Choice.
Employees assembled 500 personal care packages and contributed $645 in cash donations to
Hope's Door.
"It is our culture to give back to our community. Each employee is offered a paid day to
serve at any charity of choice and as a company, we select at least one charity to sponsor
each quarter," said Jeff Hurt, CEO of SWC Group. "We chose Hope's Door because of their
dedication to providing safety and shelter to community members affected by intimate partner
and family violence."
Employees worked together to assemble personal care packages using items purchased by
SWC Group, such as shampoo, lotion, mouthwash, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. These
care packages are typically given to people staying at an emergency shelter. Employees also
contributed by making cash donations to SWC Group.
"We are continually impressed by our employees' desire to give-time and time again," Hurt
said. "And our hope is that our small contributions will continue to better our community for
years to come."
