ummer is ramping up, and so is your association as we prepare for ACA
International's 2017 Convention & Expo, July 16-18 in Seattle.
Now is the time to get involved and help shape the future of the credit and
collection industry. By attending ACA's Convention & Expo, you'll learn more about the
latest activity on Capitol Hill and how your association is working on your behalf. Thanks
to our coordinated efforts in recent years, today we are in an unprecedented position to help
drive regulatory reform.
This year's convention is met with great anticipation, and members rightfully have a lot of
questions: How will legislators' recent focus on the Dodd-Frank Act spawn changes in the
business environment for the credit and collection industry? What are the latest updates on
ACA's lawsuit against the Federal Communications Commission? How can I keep up with
the incessantly changing compliance requirements?
You'll find the answers to your questions at ACA's Convention & Expo. Experts in

In addition to a variety of educational sessions, ACA is offering a wide range of learning
formats at this year's convention, including coffee chats, roundtable discussion groups,
deeper dive sessions, and plenty of opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and networking.
Our dynamic expo hall at the convention offers prime networking opportunities. More
than 60 companies have already signed up as exhibitors, and the list continues to grow.
Email email@example.com for more information on how to make your brand
known in the event's expo hall.
In addition, ACA is proud to welcome keynote speaker Jeff Skiles, co-pilot of US
Airways Flight 1549, "The Miracle on the Hudson." Skiles was with Captain Chesley "Sully"
Sullenberger on that January day when their aircraft impacted with a formation of Canada
geese. Together they decided returning to LaGuardia was simply not possible. In Skiles'
presentation, he will detail the lessons, training and scenarios that led to the "Miracle on the
Hudson" and what you can do when facing unexpected circumstances.
Registration is now open for ACA's Convention & Expo, and attendees can save by
registering before May 26. Visit www.acainternational.org/events/convention2017 to learn
